Diana is a registered Counselling Psychologist. Twenty-seven years of dedicated patient-centric practice has delivered multi-faceted, wide-ranging experience. She operates a successful clinical practice in Kwazulu-Natal (see Practice Information).
Diana has a special interest in traumatic stress and addiction (alcohol, chemical, food and gambling). She is further experienced in anxiety disorders, phobias, eating disorders and obesity, mood disorders, personality disorders, and post-traumatic stress disorder.
Diana provides counselling on marital, child and family issues, loss and bereavement, and health and lifestyle.
Diana is closely involved with national corporations’ Employment Assisted Programmes as Counselling Psychologist. She is experienced in Safety Behavioural Risk Assessments.
Over the past several years, Diana has developed and refined a proprietary approach to treating alcoholism. The resultant programme, Surely Sober: A Pathway for Recovery from Alcohol Addiction, has been successfully used in practice to the benefit of many patients. It is in development as an outpatient programme.
